Welcome to Lakeland Hypnosis.
Hypnotherapy for Kendal, Lancaster, Windermere, Ambleside, Keswick and Carlisle.
You might be considering making an appointment to come and see me for some hypnotherapy sessions to help with a challenge or problem you’re facing up to. Hypnosis can help when other attempts have failed because it uses the enormous power of your subconscious mind, that part of your mind you’re unaware of, in addressing the issues you want to deal with.
You might think of your mind as a huge iceberg, in that only the top 20% is visible to you, that’s your conscious mind, and the hidden 80% under the water, the most powerful part, is your subconscious mind. When you are sometimes puzzled why you do things, it may be that your subconscious mind has, unknown to you, influenced your conscious mind to do something, or engage in behaviours, that are a mystery to you.
Examples might be doing things you know are harmful; smoking, overeating, drinking to excess, or experiencing unexplained anxiety when facing certain situations like taking an exam, making a presentation, or flying. You may be puzzled why you lack confidence or assertiveness in some situations, or you may be looking for some help with a sports challenge such as getting fit, running a race, doing your first triathlon, or even stepping up to a major endurance challenge. Whatever your reasons for being here now, please be aware that my passion is to help you achieve your goals and overcome your challenges faster and more effectively than you would without my help. It’s the reason why I graduated from university in Psychology over 30 years ago, it’s the reason I qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, and it’s the reason why I’m waiting for you to get in touch now. The practice is situated in Kendal on Serpentine Road, opposite Serpentine woods.
Whatever it is, let’s go do it – I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
